Job Description:
Based in Sunnyvale/Cupertino, CA, our client is a Pre-IPO Internet Marketing Company working with Fortune 500 clients on their online marketing objectives. Due to explosive growth, they are looking to hire for a Sr. Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing engineering team. If you are up to the challenge, you must have strong Postgres and Python expertise to partner in developing real-time distributed web applications and systems. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to design and manage data models, review and provide SQL performance guidelines.

Our client is a leader in online digital marketing, managing search marketing, display and social media campaigns for advertisers and agencies around the world. They currently manage more than $1 billion in annual digital marketing spend on behalf of its clients globally. Their technology solves the complexity of search engine and internet optimization to give advertisers better Return on Investment in online advertising.

Experience Required:
* Bachelors in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of development experience on Linux/Unix platforms
* Strong demonstrated experience working with PostgreSQL is a must
* Experience with Python, C or C++ programming languages
* Knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable

Responsibilities:
* Design data models for SaaS-based products
* Partner with product development to provide input related to Postgres databases
* Develop guidelines and schema management
* Enhance tools for engineering teams to work with in Postgres database
* Provide SQL performance guidelines
