Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Surrey - from £40kpa

Our client design manufacture high cost capital equipment for us in the Uk overseas. They require a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to provide full lifecycle visibility and traceability of requirements, design, development, test, production, deployment, and support to global organizational leadership.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the design and implementation of methods and procedures for the inspection and test of security detection systems,
· Provides leadership for traditional quality assurance activities, including development and management of ISO 9000 processes and procedures.
· Oversees quality control of finished goods, incoming goods, including physical inspection for use in Product Manufacturing,
· Provides direction to QA subordinates, including the Supplier Quality staff,
· Issues and oversees the remediation of Corrective Action Requests and Non-Conforming Material issues,
· Provides support of all inspection related service activities to include calibration, MRB, RMA, etc.
· Participates with External Customers in Final Acceptance Testing and Reporting.

Experience:

· You will be a technical leader and advanced user of Quality Management Practices, tools, and advanced statistical methods with extensive experience in Quality Assurance.
· You will have experience and knowledge of the ISO9000 Standards.
· You will have experience developing validation and verification procedures for medical or high tech instruments.
· You will have the proven ability to identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce defects, rework and variability and communicate those to stakeholders.
· Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Experience in using statistical software and strong working knowledge of statistical concepts is preferred.
· Have the ability to use Microsoft office particularly Access and PowerPoint.
· Have the ability to communicate fluently and effectively, both in written and verbal formats.

Qualifications:

· University Degree or equivalent in Mathematics/Science/Engineering preferred.
