Position Summary:
Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
•Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
•Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
•Assists in the development of work station control sheets, PFMEA, control plans and other related documentation.
•Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
•Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
•Utilize quality assurance processes such as PPAP to insure the customer quality expectations are met on a daily basis.
•Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.

Required Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•5+ years of experience in Quality covering design and manufacturing
•3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing/assembly
•English fluency, both written and oral
•Familiarity with ISO9001 and Six Sigma.
