SENIOR QUALITY & STRATEGY ANALYST recruitment
The successful candidate will work to continuously develop the audit strategy and approach across the department.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identifying, planning and delivering improvements to all elements of the audit approach.
- Delivering and continuously improving the production of high quality reporting for use by executive and board level management.
- Building effective working relationships across the audit department to maximise the understanding of the audit methodology across all Internal Audit staff.
- Building effective working relationships across the business to both identify areas for improvement and to influence behaviour in respect of risk and control.
- Providing support to the Audit leadership team in developing reporting to report current status of the annual audit plan.
- Providing guidance and steer to leadership team around the identification, selection and implementation of appropriate audit work paper systems and supporting tools.
- Maintaining and promoting professional audit standards and ensuring that major risks to the audit team are managed appropriately.
Core Skills:
- Highly numerate and comfortable with statistical analysis.
- Strong relationship skills.
- Demonstrable ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
Core Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or with significant experience within a financial services environment.
- Experience of presenting reporting for use by senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of audit procedures and processes.
- PIIA or other audit qualification
- Experience of project work and a sound knowledge of the project life cycle.
- Process engineering skills (eg LEAN, 6Sigma)
