Senior Quantitative Developer for leading Hedge Fund recruitment
Our client is an emerging entrant onto the APAC market but a long established hedge fund global player. They have grown their trading teams above expectation across the region and have therefore significantly higher demand to evolve their systems functionality and technically. This has resulted in the need for a highly skilled Quant Technology Developer with specialist object oriented C++ coding experience, to be based in Singapore while working as part of the regional team on high frequency platforms covering numerous APAC markets for warrant market making and equity volatility trading.
In this role, you will responsible for the development of the core platform while directly interacting with the trading floor for running the platform and liaising with regional and global development streams as well as senior level traders and other internal clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled developer looking to work very closely with the leading edge of the high frequency derivatives business developing state of the art trading pricing platforms.
To be successful, you must possess the following -
• Masters degree is the minimum education level expected, ideally in a Quant specialism
• Experience with this business domain and real time trading platforms are essential
• Extensive knowledge of high frequency trading strategies and processes and equity derivatives products
• Experience with Warrants / Listed Options / Futures / Market Making and specifics of market links
• Solid technical experience in C++ / Oracle / Linux / Scripting / Test Driven Methods Agile Process / OO Design principles are mandatory
• Specific understanding of Market link technology of FIX OM would be an advantage
