Senior Quantitative Research Engineer — one vacancy in Nice, France

The successful candidate will be a senior financial engineer with significant skills in quantitative finance, modelling and calculation and good conceptual knowledge of finance theory. A typical profile would be an engineering graduate from a leading school with subsequent experience and/or training in finance. A doctoral qualification in mathematics/physics, economics, or quantitative finance is also typically required. Experience in a research post with an investment bank or asset management company and specific expertise in the areas of risk management, asset-liability management or private wealth management would be an asset for this position. The successful candidate will participate in EDHEC-Risk Institute’s work in the area of applied asset management research and will work on optimisation, stochastic modelling, etc. He/she will represent the research centre at seminars and conferences, so good presentation skills are required.
