Senior Quantity Surveyor Job in Bristol Bs324sy, South West Uk
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor within this clients Bristol office. The role will involve supporting Managing Surveyors / Associate Directors on a variety of projects within various sectors.
Responsibilities will include:
* Liaison with key client and their multiple stakeholders, continually developing client relationships
* Assisting the client in delivering projects to time and budget;
* Creation of robust estimates for projects and contributing to the risk profiling of the project
* Working within a team of professionals delivering cost planning and cost reporting to a programme of work
* Act as team leader taking full people management responsibility of a small team of cost managers, with varying levels, including the mentoring and development of more junior members of staff
You will match the following criteria:
* Proven knowledge in Quantity Surveying within Civil Engineering / Infrastructure;
* Estimating
* Use of and knowledge of NEC3 suite of contracts
* Track record at delivering projects to time and budget
* Demonstrate a highly motivated, pro active approach to clients
* An ability to conduct themselves in a courteous manner with a high level of professionalism
* Good communication skills;
* Have a conscientious and attentive attitude to work at all times;
* Qualified to degree or equivalent level in Quantity Surveying
* IT literate with an understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
* Knowledge in the Nuclear sector desirable but not essential
