Need Parsons is seeking a Senior Rail Transit Engineer to provide oversight to our internal design team and subcontracting partners on Class I, light rail and high speed rail projects. The successful candidate will assist in managing the rail and transit designs to assure proper alignment and configuration. This position will entail completing and checking engineering computations and material quantity takeoffs, coordinating scope of work and task assignments with Parsons engineers and subcontractors, as well as overseeing engineering and construction estimates. In addition, you will review and approve subcontractor invoices and project control accounting documents - particularly budgets and forecasts. Keys to your success will be your experience in supporting project managers in overseeing engineers and subcontractors on rail or transit projects and your ability to complete budgets, schedule and invoicing tasks. In addition, a positive attitude and professional demeanor with clients and our team members will also be important and valued.
