Senior Regional Sales Manager recruitment

* Reporting to the Head of National Sales, Broker/Dealer business, the Senior Regional Sales Manager,  Central Canada Region is responsible for managing a territory and leading a sales team to maximize the sales of   investment solutions to Investment Advisors and Financial Planners in the Broker/Dealer Channel. 

* In addition, you will recruit, train, coach and lead a professional sales team (10 wholesalers, and 10 inside/support staff) to increase advisors' support of company products and services by demonstrating an understanding of their business, providing well thought out product solutions that appropriately meet their needs and constructive marketing advice. 

* The Senior Regional Sales Manager will also have accountability for the preparation and implementation of annual business building plans, sales forecasts, expense budgets and marketing plans.  This role will have accountability for ensuring internal controls, compliance and best practices are maintained at all times through a regular review process

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a sales capacity

* 5 +  years of sales management experience in leading and developing a  team of individuals, using strong team and relationship management skills

* Strong leadership skills 

* Flexibility to travel required  for Eastern Canada coverage

* Sound knowledge of mutual funds, financial markets, investment/sales strategies

* Strong relationship management skills.

* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and influencing skills

* Demonstrated ability in achieving business objectives through business planning activities, coaching and skills development of his/her team.

* University Degree

* CSC/IFIC

* Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CFP, FCSI)

* Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken, required
