Senior Regulatory Professional

Our client, a leading Professional Services firm are keen to hire an experienced Regulatory professional to head up a newly established Regulatory Knowledge Centre which supports their Financial Services function in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide knowledge support to the FS functions on regulatory queries and issues
- Hold internal, and support external briefings on new developments
- Distribute relevant market and regulatory updates to the FS teams
- Develop products / services and/or propositions with a view to taking them to market
- Maintain an electronic knowledge base
The successful candidate will contribute directly to the continued growth of the business; lead core competencies and develop new offerings, as well as contribute to the management of the overall service line.
Successful applicants are likely to be working in a senior regulatory role within a law firm.
Requirements
- Applicants should have:
- 8+ years experience working within a Regulatory role, ideally in a professional services / legal environment
- Deep technical knowledge and expertise spanning all FS sectors including funds, banking and insurance
- Experience reviewing and interpreting regulatory legislation with particular focus on UCITS and AIFMD
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- A broad range of general knowledge on wider commercial, business and economic issues
