Regulatory Risk is defined as the "risk of material loss, reputational damage or liability arising from failure to comply with the requirements of the financial services regulators or related codes of best practice that oversee the conduct of regulated businesses in whatever areas the Group operates".
As Senior Regulatory Risk Manager, IB Transaction Services, you'll contribute to the development and communication of the regulatory risk management framework and act as the principal regulatory contact to identified Transaction Services (TS) Business Heads and associated product / regional staff. You'll also provide advice and guidance on all regulatory issues and act as the regulatory escalation point for relevant regulatory matters. You'll assist the TS business in interaction with, and management of periodic and specific supervisory and regulatory visits, investigations and requests. Additionally, you'll assist in the identification, communication and practical mitigation / resolution of regulatory risks affecting TS businesses.
To be successful as Senior Regulatory Risk Manager, IB Transaction Services, you'll have previously led as the compliance point of contact and representation for similar TS businesses in working groups, workouts, project control committees, business committees and project implementation boards, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring development of the regulatory risk management framework and execution of processes. You'll also have experience of the initiation, definition, control and delivery of regulatory risk projects within multiple work-streams, within a larger strategy or programme.
