Job Description
Markets International Banking is the wholesale banking division of RBS Group committed to supporting our clients’ needs globally with world-class debt financing, global markets, risk management and transaction services. The division was formed by combining RBS’s Global Banking Markets (GBM) operations with the international arm of Global Transaction Services (GTS). It contains two businesses, ‘Markets’ and ‘International Banking’. MIB provide market-leading fixed income, securitisation, risk management, foreign exchange, rates and transaction banking services for corporations, financial institutions, sovereigns and the public sector across 38 countries. International Banking is an integrated client experience across debt financing, transaction banking and the Markets product suite. It will include Payments and Cash Management, Trade Finance, Liquidity and Deposits, Lending, Balance Sheet Advisory and Structuring and selling of All Markets products.
Requirements
Marketing the bank's broad range of products, including Debt Capital Markets, Markets and Transactional Service products, to existing and prospect clients.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and strengthen franchise relationships with assigned Platinum/Gold clients through persistent marketing efforts with the focus to better understand the financing and operational needs of the clients
- Pro-actively solicit and develop new large corporate client relationships according to the Bank’s business strategy
- Work closely with product teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and mobilize internal resources to ensure a professional delivery of services to clients
- Be responsible for compliance of regulatory requirement
- Deliver revenue, economic capital and product cross-sell targets
- Ensure compliance of regulatory requirement and the Bank’s policies and procedures
The Individual
- Min. 7 years corporate banking experience.
- Solid credit and relationship management background with good understanding of transaction banking, treasury and debt capital market products
- A self-starter who can work effectively with minimum supervision and is committed to teamwork and organization objectives
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Good credit evaluation skill
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Good command of Putonghua and Cantonese
