Senior Relationship Manager - Commercial Finance
Reporting to the Associate Director
The Role:
The Senior Relationship Manager - Commercial Finance will be responsible for developing opportunities for Commercial Finance within the banks existing customer base but more importantly by sourcing new customers. The ideal candidate will have a track record of business development in the area in addition to an excellent understanding of all aspects of Banking.
Duties:
- Generating and closing new business from existing relationships
- Develop new relationships
- Ensure quality of delivery in line with customer expectations and service level agreements
Experience:
- Demonstrable track record of business development achievement gained in the Commercial Finance sector or a closely associated field
- Ability to assess potential clients for their suitability for a commercial finance facility
- Understand the clients business and its financial position
- Prepare and submit recommendations to Credits Committee and ensure the smooth take-on of new clients
- Have a significant background of experience in managing a portfolio of clients
- Excellent decision-making skills
- The role requires excellent commercial judgment and an in depth understanding of legal, credit and compliance issues
- A strong customer relationship building approach, understanding and successful track record of delivery against challenging objectives

- Able to adapt to change and thrive in a banking environment
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Strong team player as well as the ability to work on own initiative
Education:
- Business Degree (min 2.1) and/or an accountancy qualification
- QFA Qualified
