Job Objectives:
- Win and grow portfolios with assigned accounts
- Manage the delivery of KPIs related to the credit, debit and commercial portfolios
- Work at all levels in the accounts, from day-to-day contacts to senior executives, to design, launch and drive strategic initiatives
- Broaden and deepen relationships with the accounts beyond card business areas into e.g. processing, legal, risk/fraud, branch network and other delivery channels.
- Promote the development of the card business propositions for the bank.
- Actively use innovation to identify and create new opportunities.
- Ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day support by Visa Europe in managing the ongoing success of the accounts’ cards business
Essential criteria:
- Has successful proven track record in card marketing/ product management or related consumer FS environment
- Has good knowledge of the Irish banking and payments market
- Is a strong networker with established contacts in the Irish banking/payment industry
- Has experience and capacity to become a respected and valued partner at multiple levels within the accounts and Visa
- Is able to, at least initially, spend at least 5 days a month in London
- Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as member of a team, to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, to be able to lead and motivate within a matrix organisation
- Is commercially focussed and pragmatic
- Has excellent analytical skills
- Is a self motivated and can work well alone and in a team
- Is able to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing
- Likely to be educated to degree or equivalent professional level
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of card portfolio migration.
- This position will suit an enthusiastic individual who is willing to work in a small office (currently one additional member of the team) which is part of a multicultural, fast growing, pan-European organisation
