Senior Relationship Manager – Islamic Corporates recruitment
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing a strategy and an operational plan for ensuring achievement of asset expansion and revenue targets across fund-based and fee based products to
- Ensuring continuous monitoring and timely renewal of portfolio of accounts mobilized /assigned and arranging to obtain, review and consider related information for the same in collaboration with the credit analysis unit. Reviewing and discussing CAU comments.
- Ensuring provision of high quality and timely services to clients, and mobilising the relationships for max profitability and Islamic deposits.
- Evaluating new offers received from other banks for participation in the Syndicated deals.
- Coordinating with the Credit Analysts team and supporting staff in the on-going delivery/coordination to deliver required output (obtaining info, reviewing, structuring proposal, obtaining credit, Sharia Legal/CAD/Risk etc approvals, communicating FOL/commitment, negotiating finalizing documentation, disbursement/drawdown and obtaining monitoring reports etc) within timelines. Where necessary seeking extension in timeline from MLA/Agent/customer as applicable.
- Originating and book running of Syndication transactions.
- Originating activities across syndication bilateral business lines and ensuring efficient and effective delivery within deadlines.
- Liasoning with internal external (where applicable) legal counsels and Sharia Board Coordinator for the satisfactory documentation of the deals and compliance of CPs and security documents.
- Making calls on the prospective bilateral customers, banks and syndication prospects to solicit new business relationships.
- Supervising/coordinating with CAD for compliance of all Financial Covenants and ensuring compliance of Facility Agency/Security Trustee responsibilities, where applicable.
- Attending to client enquiries and ensuring prompt turnaround.
- Maintaining and growing relationships with key customers and Islamic Fis.
- Communicating effectively with various departments of the bank.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Increase in customer base.
- Achievement of service quality standards.
- Achievement/Sales against target, profitability.
- Training Man-days.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA in Finance, preferably with a professional qualification in relevant field (accounting, law, investment, or banking etc) with atleast 8-10 years of work experience in the banking sector of which atleast 3 years in a relation management role in UAE.
