Senior Relationship Manager, Loan Products recruitment
Responsibilities
- Ensure excellence in delivery of loan products (term loans, working capital, trade, etc) to designated clients and prospects of the Wholesale Clients International division.
- Responsible for the structuring, execution, follow up of corporate loan transactions, relationship management, including cross sell responsibility, for assigned wholesale client portfolios.
- Engage, structure, negotiate, document, execute, and monitor/follow-up all (structured) credit related transactions incl (structured) term loans, working capital, trade and other credit lending products for designated clients.
- Relationship management/client coverage for designated client relationships/prospects, from a debt and/or total relationship perspective (with cross-sell responsibility).
- Prepare credit reports and financial analysis, and manage internal credit process and responsibility for follow-up/monitoring/reviews/waivers amendments in co-operation with credit analysts.
- Execute Account Plan and initiate and/or realize cross-selling of wholesale products and services to clients.
- Work together in deal teams or act as deal captain if required.
- Take a proactive approach to business development – e.g. refinancing opportunities, debt structuring initiatives, cross sell.
- Manage designated portfolio within parameters of risk, capital usage, etc.
- Credit lending product development.
- Achieve set targets (incl credit lending revenue and cross-sell) and KPIs.
Requirements
- Degree holder in the relevant discipline.
- At least 8 years of solid experience in corporate banking with focus on Hong Kong/China markets.
- Experience with clients in food agriculture sector (i.e. COFCO, China Resources, Pacific Andes, etc) is desired.
- Proven debt structuring skills across all funded products, such as term loans, working capital facilities incl trade, etc.
- Ability to translate knowledge, insights and opinions into offering (debt) solutions to clients.
- Strong transaction management and execution skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Fluent communication skill in English and Mandarin.
- Strong analytical and Financial Modeling skills.
