A multinational bank is seeking experienced relationship managers within corporate banking to make a quick impact and footprint here in Hong Kong. Be a part of this new team today and bring your expertise! Based in Hong Kong, your portfolio will deal with multinational and local corporations. Client is also seeking those with experience dealing with clients in Mainland China and Taiwan.
Description
- Manage and facilitate lead generation from identified channels.
- Assist in building Commercial Banking 'sticky' deposit base HK, China, Taiwan
- Achieve assigned revenue, product volume, cross sell and other sales targets
- Develop and implement customer strategies in conjunction with product partners and relevant parties to identify the right product and service opportunities.
- Implement an active 'call program' to increase customer growth and wallet share in target industries; initiate client (sales) acquisition activities including road shows, face to face interactions and internal sales meetings
- Proactively develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs (account planning)
- Responsible for revenue growth from the product suite for their portfolio within the customer group; evaluate the portfolio client's financial risks and performance
- Develop and increase company wallet share of the client's financial services needs
- Working with product teams to identify opportunities, structure solutions and execute solutions
- Increase Market Share through innovative sales strategies and sales execution
- Undertake account plans for priority customers within Commercial Banking where necessary
Requirements
- Had previous relationship management experience (min. 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and company strategies to identify and relate to target companies
- Solid working experience in corporate/SME or business banking environment
- Demonstrated understanding of small/medium business needs and expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and customer focus
- Ability to work autonomously, work with a team and solve problems quickly
- Proactive and solutions driven
- Can work in fast sales environment with proven track record to meet targets
- Excellent English communication, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred. For China and Taiwan portfolio, Mandarin is essential.
