Senior Relationship Manager recruitment
The AME Group is a leading professional research and advisory firm in energy, resources and metals with a strong international reputation. AME Group is seeking to expand our existing and well established presence in Hong Kong with a Senior Relationship Manager.

This new senior role will report directly to senior management with the principal intention to lift our considerable reputation within the mining sectors of the major banks/institutions (corporate advisory, funds management, project finance and equity research) and mining corporations. Key responsibilities are:
- Liaising and meeting with the clients on a regular basis, following through on client requests and building and maintaining relationships
- Co-ordination and management of our client activity
- Assisting our analytical team with consulting project scheduling and helping ensure jobs run smoothly and to time
- Local and international travel
The role is primarily centred on building and maintaining our client relationships. The role will offer real variety from maintaining and building client relationships, liaising with existing and potential clients and generally assisting with the running of the business in Hong Kong. You must also enjoy the challenge of working in different professional environments. More specifically, the successful candidate will have:
- A demonstrable interest and knowledge in metals, mining and the energy industries.
- Strong networking, negotiating and relationship management skills plus the ability to influence senior level decision makers.
- A proven successful track record of managing new high value sales and ability to lift the revenue base from our existing clients.
- A hands-on approach with the ambition and the drive to meet profit targets.
- A second language (preferably Mandarin) or considerable exposure to other business cultures
You should have at least 6+ years' professional experience in a similar professional services firm, financial institution, investment bank, trading firm or mining company. To enjoy our environment it helps if you have solid academic qualifications, a genuine flair for sales and research, an existing contact network, excellent English and the ability/willingness to present our views to a senior and sophisticated audience. We offer a competitive remuneration package based on performance. Initial training will also be provided.
