Senior Relationship Manager UK & Ireland recruitment
The Role
Dexia Asset Management is a significant European asset manager with appx €80 billion of AuM and investment centres in Brussels, Paris, Luxembourg and Sydney. A comprehensive product provider with a full range of investment strategies including traditional and quantitative equity, fixed income, global balanced as well as alternative management (single strategy fund of hedge funds), sustainable and responsible investment, cash management and structured asset management.
As part of our plans to further develop our UK Irish business, we have recently opened an office in the City where we will base a small dynamic team. This team will have an initial objective of focusing on third-party distribution clients prospects in order to promote our traditional and alternative fund ranges. Our clients within this market are retail banks, private banks, asset managers, funds of funds, fund selection units, structurers etc
Responsibilities
- Increase presence of Dexia Asset Management in the UK Irish market
- Achieve net sales revenue targets
- Increase level of client satisfaction deepen understanding of their requirements
- Business Development: Prepare and conduct telephone calls, prospect meetings, presentations and sales pitches
- Relationship Management: Prepare conduct regular client meetings, deal effectively with queries and identify opportunities to cross-sell our product range
- Events: Initiate and supervise organisation of specific events, invite and host clients
- Marketing and sales strategy: Develop specific client segment strategies building on sound knowledge of market trends and competitors
- In order to fulfil this role successfully, the candidate should have the capacity to work with different internal functions across Europe
Profile
- Graduate degree in business related area
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated sales success and ability to maintain client loyalty
- Superb client servicing and relationship building capabilities
- Self motivated with a drive to meet targets
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong technical knowledge of asset management markets and products
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in similar role
- Language skills: Fluent English (French is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently as part of a small dynamic team and also as part of a wider Group in order to ensure client satisfaction maximise sales opportunities
