Senior Relationship Manager/Director – Commodities Team

Job Description

Client Management:
• Is immediately nominated to short list status by existing clients for new deals
• Creates and delivers "Landmark deals"
• Is a core/priority bank / trusted advisor for a number of clients
• Access to client top team
• Client receives an exceptional service experience as their engagement is tailored to reflect learning from previous interactions

Key Roles Responsibilities

Credit Acquisition:
• The majority of generated leads are converted into highly profitable clients
• Landmark deals are created i.e. Deals which due to their size, structure or originality are regarded as exceptional
• Bring "new to bank" clients

Cross Selling:
• Increase overall level of cross-sell throughout respective portfolio
• Complex Financial Markets products (Debt Capital Market, Derivatives) are sold to clients through providing product partners with solid business opportunities
• Novel ‘packaged’ products which are created through the engagement of product partners’ expertise are sold to clients
• High value, "share of mind" products PEF,CA, STF and SF are sold to clients

Risk Management:
• The quality of the risk/ reward return ratios are better than internal targets as a result of delivering opportunities which benefit the bank as a whole
• Capital employed is maximized by proactively approaching client base with innovative business solutions
• Quality (e.g. profitability, risk profile) and number of deals made
• Number of leads generated and conversion rates of leads to new clients
• Level of engagement in client organization
• Client revenue from both commercial banking and Financial Markets products

Qualifications Skills

• University degree.
• Relevant experience in banking, foreign banks/multinational corporates experience is preferred. Commodity experience is a must
• Good credit appraisal and marketing skills with the ability to interpret financial information
• Good knowledge of bank products, policies, guidelines, corporate law, and business strategy
• General understanding of the economic, commercial, political and business environment of the region
• Good communication and negotiation skills with multi-cultural awareness
• Good English PC skills
