SaaS Company is looking for a Release and Deployment engineer.
Need:
The engineer will excel in the development of IT and end user tools. The candidate should be able to look at manual tasks and be able to conceive, and develop automated solutions for many different use cases. This individual should have strong PowerShell or other Object- Oriented scripting language skills. This person will be SME when it comes to automation. This individual should be able to troubleshoot and analyze processes and recommend improvements.
SKILLS
- 4+ years experienced as a software developer (C#/.NET/PowerShell)
- Background in redesigning existing software to solve complex technical problems.
- Programming in PowerShell
- Object-Oriented Programming with C#, Java a plus.
- Development, debugging, and unit testing with Visual Studio
- Developing applications leveraging ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL and the Microsoft Enterprise Library Data Access Application Block
- Parsing, querying, scraping, and transforming XML, HTML, and JSON
- Primary editors are Visual Studio 2010 and notepad++
- Microsoft SQL Server: Normalization, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Rules, Views, Indexes
- Building web applications with ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, XHTML, AJAX, CSS, and FireBug
- Creating mobile web applications for the iOS
- Fully fluent in developing cross-browser applications that follow web standards and deliver a rich user experience
- Comfortable with managing and using Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
- Experience installing, configuring, and managing DNS, IIS, SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, Qmail, FTP
