Senior Report Analyst

Position Description:
You're empowered to do your best! Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.
Positions in this function include those responsible for designing/developing, programming, maintaining and publishing operational reports. Provides operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed. May be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
- Works with less structured, more complex issues.
- Serves as a resource to others.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- 2+ years of report and database development experience; i.e. creating and generating ad hoc and standard reports and creating and modifying MS Access and/or SQL databases, someone who possesses the ability to analyze and translate business ideas into solutions
- 2+ years of data analysis experience; i.e. someone who possesses the ability to identify and uncover anomalies, identifying trends, etc.
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel and Access; i.e. Excel - creating pivot charts, graphs, functions; Access - someone who possesses database development and management
- 1+ year of experience utilizing SAS and/or SQL; i.e. SAS - utilizing this tool specifically for analysis purposes; SQL - creating SQL queries to access data within the database
Assets:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
