An excellent opportunity to join this expanding Global Leader to set up and create dashboards and scorecards for HQ and each Global region’s business intelligence.
As the Reporting Specialist, you will work closely with the VP Worldwide and identify the requirements and build in functionality and improve the business reporting processes and management information.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining SQL databases to create one datamart for the Technical Support WW.  This is a Greenfield opportunity so you will use your advanced Excel Pivot tables, OLAP, ODBC to extract data from various sources to provide excellent reporting information.  You will use your data modelling, database design to create and maintain reports, charts, graphs etc. Also providing business results analysis and improvements across the full range of business applications for the International teams in Europe, Middle East, US, Asia, India, Australia, and Japan. The major business applications in use are Salesforce SQL Databases. You will be responsible for working with Senior Managers, various users and team members to analyse projects to improve the business processes through improvements to both the business applications and the basic processes such as Excel Spreadsheets associated with them. This role also involves providing business intelligence for Board Level Reporting as well as Service Support Level statistics SLA Performance as well as product issues etc. Training for the users of the Reporting systems in small groups and one to one will also be required as you will be the reporting specialist for the group.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills plus analysis and problem solving skills. You will be expected to develop a good understanding of the business applications in use, especially Global business process, broken down into regions in particular those of Technical Support, Customer Services, Product Management, Spares Management etc.

Ideal Profile
Excellent expertise in Databases and Reporting, business analysis, BI processes required with a broad knowledge of Salesforce, reports available and creating new ones. Creating datamarts and extracting information from SQL databases and analysing data to produce excellent business intelligence. 

“Hands on” experience with SQL 2000/2005

ASP MS.Net and secure ASP Forms

VBA, Business Objects, OLAP

SQL Enterprise Manager, Query Analyser, Web development, .Net, PHP, ODBC, Dashboard creation etc.
Configuration knowledge of Salesforce and SQL
Educated to degree level with at least 5 years work experience. Able to demonstrate the customer facing, communication, and logical analysis skills BI etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science.  Analysis experience in a business environment with emphasis on Technical support processes and technologies.
