Senior Reporting MI Analyst (VBA, Access) recruitment
Working in a senior analyst role in Global Procurement, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing BAU and ad hoc procurement reports in support of senior stakeholder requirements.
- Working within Excel and Access, drawing information from several data sources including SAP, central databases and OneSource.
- You will be required to manipulate significant amounts of data in order to respond to the reporting and MI requirements from stakeholders, at times under significant time pressure.
- You will engage senior stakeholders directly in both the scoping of the requirement and the delivery of the final report and supporting analysis.
- Use your advanced skills in access and VBA / coding / automation to ensure that the production of the reports is time efficient, in addition to assisting team members in the automation of current and pipeline reports.
- You must be comfortable with working independently and must bring experience in exceeding expectations in the production of reports and MI to stakeholders.
Skills and requirements:
- Ideally you will have a finance background - formal accountancy qualification will be favourbaly looked upon
- Expert level in excel and in the manipulation / reconciliation of multiple and large excel data sets
- Strong experience in SAP
- Expert level in Access
- Proficient in VBA coding
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and reporting deadlines (some of which will be ad hoc)
- Very strong reporting skills – understands how to build a report (predominantly in excel) that is concise, clear and professionally presented and pulls out the key metrics and messages
- Personable and an excellent communicator (written and oral). The role faces off to very senior stakeholders and requires the requisite level of professionalism with respect to communication skills
