(Senior) Research Assistant
(Senior) Research Assistants contribute to the Institute’s academic and/or applied research projects.
This may involve carrying background research on the state-of-the art in academic circles (literature review) and best industry practices, designing questionnaires, collecting data, administering surveys, coding data, managing databases, performing statistical analyses, coding financial models, analysing data and writing up reports.
(Senior) Research Assistants will work under the supervision of an experienced researcher e.g. Prof. Ekkehart Boehmer for capital market / microstructure work, Dr. Frederic Blanc-Brude for infrastructure investment / pensions work and Prof. Stoyan Stoyanov for portfolio construction, volatility modelling and risk management.
Positions are part-time (3 days a week) to allow for concurrent participation in EDHEC-Risk Institute's PhD in Finance programme (http://phd.edhec.edu).
Compensation includes ful-tuition waiver for this SGD63,000 p.a. programme.
