The Senior Revenue Analyst II will work under the direction of their immediate manager to review sales contracts and record related revenue and expenses, ensuring compliance with revenue and cost recognition policies and procedures.   The Analyst will also provide input into the budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Previous accounting experience (preferably in a large multi-national company or in a major CPA firm).
  • Strong technical knowledge and thorough understanding of US GAAP and IFRS in the area of revenue recognition, particularly in a software, software-as-a-service and consulting services environment.
  • CPA or equivalent certification, or parts passed, is preferable.
  • Ability to understand legal contracts and determine the proper revenue recognition.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation and listening skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a broad range of staff and executives are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment, while taking the initiative, staying organized and motivated, and maintaining excellent follow up, is required.
  • Experience with financial systems (preferably PeopleSoft, including Contracts module) is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SEC reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytic skills, and attention to details.
  • The EMEA Finance Controllership Group consists of around 30 employees across Europe with a central hub in London.  It is responsible for group US financial reporting, local statutory reporting and financial controls for each of the EMEA offices
