Senior RF Electrical Engineer Job in Atlanta 30339, Georgia US

 

Senior RF Hardware Engineering  

-        Ability to design RF circuits to the board level, including, RF transceivers, PA’s, LNA’s, Filters, etc. 

-        Ability to calculate system link budgets, and analyze antenna performance 

-        Proficient with RF design practices up to and including 2.4GHz  

-        Familiar with analog and digital modulation including, FSK, MSK, GFSK, DSSS, QAM, OFDM, etc. 

-        Proficient in the use of RF lab test equipment including, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. 

-        Familiar with radio certifications, including FCC, IC, RTTE, ability to take an engineering design through EMI and EMC certifications. 

-        Ability to design lower frequency analog circuits to the board level, including op-amps, comparators, signal conditioning blocks, detectors etc. 

-        Familiar with circuit board layout techniques, and be capable of reviewing layouts from outside contractors. 

-        Analyze / troubleshoot failures and drive issues to closure with preventive measures 

-        Must possess good craft skills to modify and optimize PCB’s during the prototype phase 

-        Must be able to deal with customers and project management in defining technical requirements, and providing the optimum solution(s) to meet those requirements. 

 

Required Qualifications 

-        B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent  

-        At least 5+ years experience in analog and RF design 

-        Experience in working with customer development teams 

-        Prior experience in EMI / EMC certifications 

-        Prior experience transitioning product from development to production 

-        Ability to work independently and within a diverse engineering team 

-        Strong problem analysis, troubleshooting and debugging skills 

-        Solid oral and written communication skills 

-        Highly motivated and high initiative to drive a project to completion
