One of the Nation’s largest most respected Public Safety/Cellular DAS integrators is looking to fill the position of Senior Radio Frequency Engineer. This position will report to the RF Engineering Director may lead to a management opportunity. The ideal candidate will apply RF theory through practical application. This is a “hands on” application engineering position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- An excellent comprehension of antenna systems types is very important.
- Candidate will interface with system design teams to answer questions specify product for complex systems that may carry RF frequencies down to 100 MHz up to 4 GHz.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in a related communications field 8 years field experience or;
- Supervisory management experience is helpful.
- A strong comprehension of the use of Spectrum Analysis equipment including but not limited to;
- RF network Analyzers
- Service Monitors for two way radio
- Tracking generators
- Return loss bridges
- OTDR is a plus
