Senior Risk Analyst recruitment

Ø Risk reporting for both internal and external audiences across the fundamental components of risk management including report production and analysis of results

Ø Leverage a wide range of business and product knowledge as well as technical skills to ensure an optimal operating environment is attained

Ø Ensure data and processing exceptions are quickly resolved

Ø Identify report automation opportunities and develop business requirements for process automation projects

Ø Ensure that reporting is produced in a controlled and repeatable manner

Qualifications:

Ø Masters degree in Finance with an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline or Masters degree in Financial Engineering or  MBA/BA with a credit analysis background

Ø Solid knowledge of fixed income mathematics

Ø Solid knowledge of credit analysis or credit risk management

Ø Insurance background is a plus

Ø Experience working in Risk Management or Financial Services

Ø Experience supporting operational processes

Ø Experience writing business requirements for software development

Ø Detail oriented

Ø Strong Team player

Ø Self-starter

Ø Excellent written and verbal skills are a requirement

Technical requirements include:

Ø Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills are required

Ø Ability to learn in-house software packages quickly with high proficiency

Ø Working knowledge with quantitative finance and risk management software such as   Algorithmics RiskWatch is a plus

Ø A minimum of 5-7 years financial services experience
