Senior Risk Analyst recruitment
For an international energy company I am looking for Senior Risk Analyst for as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- structuring, managing and running risk sales and origination processes
- applying and further developing risk methodologies and policies for risk sales and origination activities
- validating and/or individually calculating risk-return-exposures for transactions involving different energy commodities such as power, gas, LNG, coal
- working with other risk controlling teams in Essen, Swindon and London as well as other functions, esp. Finance, Back Office and Front Office
Your profile:
- degree level candidate with a sound economic, mathematical background
- adequate professional experience in energy commodity markets, ideally with a sound understanding of the energy distribution business
- previous exposure and knowledge gained within risk controlling, risk management and/or financial reporting of a company operating in the energy sector or within trading
- good Excel skills
- knowledge of VBA, SQL and Endur advantageous
- fluency in English (German language skills advantageous but not a prerequisite)
