Senior Risk Controller / Project Manager – FW Treasury Risk, COO recruitment
The responsibilities include:
Work independently and collaboratively and establish a close partnership with key stakeholders both within the Function and Treasury, Risk Control, Finance and IT.
Manage change the bank activities and serve as the Project Office and ensure that the change programs deliver on time and in quality.
Work on special projects as and when required.
Coordinate activities within the function to ensure smooth operations and proactively identify opportunities for efficiency gains. Specifically, coordinate the production of reports / sections of reports owned by the Function.
Support the analysis and contributions of the function to emerging regulatory requirements (e.g. Basel III and Too Big To Fail).
Operational risk management within the Function.
Represent the Function's interests in various committees and ensure that the function meets all its external commitments.
University degree in finance or a quantitative discipline.
At least 5 years experience in a similar role or in Treasury, Risk Control or Finance in a leading financial institution.
Good knowledge of banking processes and specifically risk control in a financial institution.
Knowledge of European and U.S. regulatory and accounting requirements (e.g., FINMA, FSA, Fed, Dodd-Frank, Basel II.5 III).
Good knowledge of IT and process engineering to be able to define and identify opportunities for improvements.
Strong organisational and networking and influencing skills.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure; 'can do' attitude and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of an initiative.
Collaborate for results, and possess strong communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills demonstrated across boundaries, locations and multiple layers of the organization
Demonstrated ability to win trust and respect of business partners.
Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment.
Strong results orientation and ability to work in a matrixed reporting structure.
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
