The Role:
- Solution Expert for Market and Credit Risk Analytics product range in the sell side and buy side vertical.
- Working with the Market and Credit Risk Analytic Business Lines, help identify market new tendency and functional requirements. To help define the market selling propositions, key product messages, and competitor differentiators.
- To work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed company revenue targets: prospects and solution qualification, content and product expert.
- Support the product, functional and implementation specific aspects of the bid strategy as well as assisting with responses to RFIs. Preparation of proposals and presenting solutions to clients.
- Responsible for ensuring proposed solutions are achievable, profitable and realistic given client requirements
- Capturing customer requirements, advising and assisting Implementation teams in the provision of design and implementation requirements
- Ensuring that relevant information from each presales engagement is fed back to the Business Line to be used in product management decisions
- Accountable for the effective use of resources to aid the effectiveness of sales engagements and effective management of the pre-sales process while responsibly managing the cost of pre-sales and use of resource budgets.
- Proactively support third party partners and third party sales channels while developing mutually beneficial business
- Willingness and ability to travel is a strong requirement.
Skills Required:
• Able to demonstrate a strong risk management background, with over 3 years experience in the industry.
• A strong understanding of one or more of the following: Market Risk, Credit Exposure and Counterparty Credit Risk Management, Economic Capital.
• Familiarity and comfort with Algorithmics Solution is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent client facing and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written English and strong presentation/communication skills essential
