Senior Sale/Raw Material Trader recruitment

Job description:

As a raw materials trader, you will coordinate purchases and sales of raw materials.

Reporting directly to the CEO of Fesil Sales, your main responsibilities will be:

- To complement an existing sales activity in Scandinavia with new additional products and customers.

-To devote a maximum of time on sourcing with the back-up of the various FESIL sales offices.

- To foster relationships with suppliers buyers.

- To make recommendations on position taking and risk management issues.

- To monitor market activities and contractual performance.

- To maintain up to date contact with wider / relevant offices on market conditions and sale / sourcing opportunities.

You like to operate with a global mindset while maintaining a full focus on your regional business plan.


Profile of the candidates:

Academic Background and professional Experience:

To succeed in this role you need a minimum of 5 years of commercial work experience in commodity trading environment  especially  in ferro-alloys/metals /steel / scrap / pig iron/ ore/ coal trading. 

One other key point will be your ability to operate effectively in a team environment (across time zones, work environment etc). Strong appreciation for diversity across national / operating cultures, work styles, etc.

Languages:

Excellent command of English both written and spoken. Any other languages will be an advantage, especially Swedish and Finnish.

Personality:

Ability to work on an independent basis as well as within a team.

 Influencing skills at all levels of organization.

 Excellent communication skills at all levels of organization.

Start-up business mentality

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and Navision.

Remuneration Package (depending on seniority and added value):
