GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general direction, collects, evaluates and analyzes complex sales data and economic conditions to measure the attainment of sales objectives. Prepares sales forecasts, recommends quotas for sales representatives, and advises on changes in promotional efforts. Responsible for complex sales and service reporting. Provides complex analytical support to sales and service organizations.
 
Must love data analysis! Up to 5 years experience required, will also consider new grads with a data analysis/marketing background.
High comfort level with Powerepoint required.
 
Candidate will be expected to:
·         Learn the Travelocity business and will consequently be expected to ensure analysis and results pass the sniff test, ensuring reliability and accuracy in deliverables
·         Engage others in similar functions to learn reporting systems; little formal training available so initiative and willingness to learn and dig is a must
·         Comprehensively answer business questions related to Travelocity call center sales - from determining required data, collecting the data by running queries and reports, analyzing the data to determine findings, and packaging results in a fashion to clearly demonstrate findings with presentation quality.
·         Anticipate what information is important to the business with regard to a specific initiative and be proactive in preparing answers for likely subsequent questions
·         Manage multiple priorities - combining ongoing reporting with strategic analysis and ad hoc requests
·         Meet project and deliverable deadlines
·         Interact comfortably with individuals at all levels throughout the enterprise
 

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience preferred. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
