If you are a Senior Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, or Professional Services Consultant with experience in security technologies such as Identity management, Key management, and/or encryption protocols, please read on!
Growing Enterprise Security Software company is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to demonstrate their patented technologies, provide pre-sales support at customer sites, and run complex proof-of-concepts. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of selling enterprise security software.
What you need for this position:
- Extensive technical customer-facing skills, either as a current Sales Engineer or Professional Services Consultant
- Knowledge of security technologies and protocols; such as firewalls, SSL, two-factor authentication, and digital signatures
- Strong knowledge of current enterprise technologies; such as virtualization, web services, databases, and messaging
- Able to establish and achieve a simple relational database and implement simple SQL queries
- Experience working with UNIX and Windows Server environments
- Familiarity of security aspects; such as identity management, key management, and encryption protocols
- Understanding of Crypto, PKI, and Authentication
- Some knowledge of Perl, Python, or Java
- Knowledge of application servers, such as WebLogic and WebSphere
What you'll be doing:
- Institute and maintain technical credibility with prospects and existing clients
- Work closely with product engineering and product marketing to meet customer requirements
- Oversee technical RFIs and RFPs
