Our Client
This fast growing Australian business is at the forefront of green power generation with their range of Gas power generators. Their equipment is currently being installed in some of Australia's most predominant projects. As well as being able to provide state of the art generators, this company is also heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical infrastructrure design and construction. Due to an organisational restructure this company is looking to secure the services of a proven Senior Project Engineer with strong consultative sales experience to drive the sales structure forward over coming years.
The Role on offer
Firstly working out of the Northern Sydney head office, your role will be to visit existing clients and consultants and gain an understanding of the projects currently being worked on and tendered on. This role will also have responsibility for identifying new clients and project opportunities in conjuction with state offices around the country. You will work closely with the MD and the board to shape the direction of the sales structure in coming years. Your focus will be the Consultants, Construction, Mining and Industrial markets - all of which this company already has strong reference sites for you to leverage. With an extensive range of gas powered generators, this company is well placed to take advantage of and exploit new federal tax laws to drive sales in coming years. This company has excellent presales talent at your disposal and a management team that is highly respected in the industry
Remuneration on offer
- The salary for this role will be discussed with appropriate candidates a package of $120K + Super + Car and Bonses has been discussed
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years proven Business Development experience
- Proven ability to win engineering projects with multiple million dollar price tags
- Excellent relationship building skills with a variety of people
- Proven ability to utilise presales resources at the right time in the sales process
- Tertiary qualifications in either business or engineering
- Sound understanding of power generation
- You must currently reside in Australia and have valid work status for permanent work
