Senior Sales Executive – Buy Side (Institutional & Alternatives)

Excelsior has been engaged to conduct this search by a well established, leading enterprise software provider for buy side front, middle and back office systems to instutional and alternative asset managers.  Due to the deal success they're having, they are looking to appoint another high quality senior sales professional to continue the success they’ve established.  This opportunity provides the prospect to work for a well respected, stable and extremely successful organization, with the chance to sell an industry leading solution into Tier 1 buy side firms. This is a key hire requiring a high quality senior sales professional who brings successful track record of closing enterprise software solutions to the buy side.

The role:

• This is a new business hunter role, requiring a strong sales mentality to focus and deliver versus targets
• Selling a leading solution with complex and high value deal cycles, in addition to lower value products that are available for you to sell from their product suite. .
• Territory is to concentrate on buy side client prospects in the UK Ireland.
• Supported by an excellent team to deliver a high quality sales experience for clients and provide you with the sales support you need.
• Be part of a leading global business that offers high quality products and first class support to team members

Appropriate sales professionals will bring:

• A proven track record selling either front, middle or back office software solutions into the buy side  - either asset managers, hedge funds, adminstrators or securities services firms etc.
• The ability to articulate and sell a business benefit type proposition clearly
• Strong sales process management skills
• Enterprising personality and approach to business.
