Energy market participants around the world today struggle to deal with a growing number of concerns such as volatile energy markets, shifting global energy resources, and ever-tightening regulatory controls. SunGard's Energy and Commodities solutions help energy companies to compete efficiently in global energy and commodities markets by streamlining and integrating the trading, risk management and operations of physical commodities and their associated financial instruments.

Role Description:

At SunGard we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to grow and manage business for Aligne Energy in the Baltics Eastern Europe region. The ideal candidate should be able to deal at 'C' level and capable of formulating detailed business development plans, enabling SunGard to grow services and licence revenues. This role will be based in London with regular travel.

Key Accountabilities:
* Identify prospects, source new leads and qualify opportunities in the assigned territory
* Develop sales strategy for winning and growing new business
* Build and maintain strong relationships with systems integrators, other vendors and sister companies to ensure you maximise the probability of success
* Provide market intelligence to stakeholders within SunGard, identifying any product gaps and new business opportunities
* Report in a timely manner all business activities in the relevant sales reporting tools
* Co-ordinate the effective use of resources as part of the sales process, and work effectively with colleagues within SunGard

Position Requirements:

Essential:
* Substantial experience selling ETRM solutions
* Proven big-ticket sales track record
* Sound sales methodology
* Strong relationship builder at C level
* Excellent communicator
* Strong client management skills
* Experience presenting and writing proposals

Desirable:
* Knowledge of the Energy and Commodities markets, and key players within the region
* Relevant language skills
