Senior Sales Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and business development strategies and tactics for Voci’s speech recognition solutions to achieve sales, customer acquisition and market share objectives.
- Identify, contact, qualify, develop and win key strategic accounts in accordance with the company’s sales strategies.
- Lead negotiations with key, strategic end user accounts – bringing in partners to provide a total solution and supporting partners in their discussions and negotiations with end users as needed.
- Develop and foster productive relationships with key senior-level end user customers, influencers, and partners.
- Identify and develop new reseller partners as appropriate in support of sales, customer acquisition and market share objectives.
- Provide input into marketing plans and programs and contribute to the formulation and implementation of internal and external marketing communications to support sales, customer acquisition and market share objectives.
- Help to define and execute appropriate processes to provide timely and accurate management information related to forecasts, market intelligence and industry trends.
- Continuously maintain information on sales opportunities useable for pipeline reporting and forecasting with discrete key deal visibility.
- Carry out other tasks as may be required from time to time.
Desired Experience:
- At least 7 years sales experience in the speech recognition, call-center, business intelligence, voice of the customer and/or text analytics industries, with 4 years in a senior sales position.
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners in the industries of interest.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
- Proven evangelical track record selling hardware software products/services in a new product/new market environment.
- Proven sales track record of working with partners to provide end-user costumer solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment.
- Experience with a specific sales funnel management methodology; including the ability to develop and articulate a customer specific quantitative value proposition(s).
- Experience in choosing, deploying and using marketing and sales SW applications.
- Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
- Current knowledge of the call-center, business intelligence, voice of the customer and/or text analytics industries and markets.
- Experience identifying potential product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Track record of profiling and selling directly to major accounts at the highest level and in initiating and closing major deals.
- Experience selling directly within a company that also has indirect channels working in the same markets or experience managing a network of indirect sales channels in a multiple channel environment.
- Track record of successful strategy development from planning to implementation phases.
- Experience developing effective customer relationships at senior levels within large national/multinational accounts.
