Senior Sales Manager – Boutique Global Fund Administration Business recruitment
This is an opportunity to take knowledge gained in the Alternative Fund business (either investment or asset servicing) and implement it within an autonomous and entrepreneurial role where you can ultimately own a share in the business, given strong results. You will be networking in the sector, building out a footprint with key decision makers, working on marketing material, operational developments, client-facing skills and everything in-between.
You should have strong exposure already gained in the Private Equity/ Real Estate / Hedge Funds business, giving you a solid book of contacts and strong business understanding. Further to your connections and contacts in the market, you have an operational mind-set that allows you to view what is needed from a business perspective, looking at things from the best business standpoint and knowing what steps need to be made to get there. You can see what type of products would serve the Alternative industry, and can envisage the ways that a Private Equity or Real Estate client might need their fund and corporate solutions to work, and how to structure a sale in that area.
Key Attributes:
- Strong sales approach with proven track-record and commercial mind-set
- Solid network in the Alternative Investment services
- Product Knowledge in 2 or more of the following: Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Funds administration sector
- UK/ Europe Tax knowledge strong advantage
The right candidate could be from the Financial, Sales or Legal worlds, but in all cases should have a solid exposure to either Alternative investments or Fund Services. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to see the ways in which the client would need to be serviced; so some kind of background in operations would be very useful, although we will consider candidates who have come up through other routes. You should be a key relationship builder and someone who responds well to change, development and can resolve lifecycle issues.
You must also be an individual who fits well in a small boutique structure who sees the benefit to not being in a large “Bureaucratic” environment.
