BASIC: Up to £60,000, OTE: Up to £66,000

A large range of industrial component / plastic injection moulding machinery (all owned by the company) allows the design and manufacture of a wide range of products that service an extremely diverse array of sectors and industries that include glazing, construction, electronics, furniture, consumer durables, automotive, pharmaceutical promotional products and packaging.
The company has grown aggressively through business development and acquisition including the establishment of a manufacturing partner in China and an office in the U.S. Turning over in excess of £6.5m, and employing almost 100 people, the company is well positioned to develop further.
JOB SPECIFICATION: Senior Sales Manager : Industrial Components, Plastics Manufacturer
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:
* Manage, lead and motivate the Sales and Marketing function of the company - including both the field based and internal sales teams. You will be responsible for achieving team targets including regular performance reviews.
* Generate pro-active business development alongside the sales and marketing team through new business, networking and development of existing accounts.
* Provide accurate forecasting and budgets for the sales and marketing departments.
* Be responsible for different aspects of marketing for the company, including web site control and content, exhibitions and advertising.
REQUIREMENTS: Senior Sales Manager : Industrial Components, Plastics Manufacturer
You MUST have a proven track record of Sales Management and Business Development success at a senior level - most probably selling some sort of industrial component.
You will have strong leadership skills, experience in motivating and developing a successful sales team (internal / external.
You will have the capacity for strategic business development.
You will have experience of managing budgets and projections for sales and marketing functions.
You will also have had some exposure to marketing techniques.
