Senior Sales Officer recruitment

My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a real desire to business develop their UK operation. You will receive the backing of a multinational operation though the onus will be on you to utilise your UK contacts to help increase business. The position comes with a good base package and the opportunity to earn substantial commission.

This role involves a number of important responsibilities including:

- Developing and executing the business plan including identifying new sales opportunities and applications of outsourcing products and services for a specific market (mainly in the field of Finance and Administration, Accounting and Reporting and Fiduciary and Legal Services).

- Demonstrating ambition and commercial drive in order to achieve the sales, revenue and collection targets and other goals by firm commercial management, communication and team work.

- Develop relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside the business;

- Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the products and services available;

- Distributing existing and new marketing materials, products and services to existing and new clients.

- Maintain the internal systems to ensure leads are followed up and potential sales tracked;

- Deliver executive-level business reviews on day-to-day sales activities and market developments (trends, needs, competitors, etc.) for future improvement of the BPO Unit’s business;

- Ability to operate to high standard SLAs;

- Acts as liaison between clients and production offices in order to achieve enhanced process management;

- Represent the company at networking functions, seminars, and other industry-related events;

- Maintains and develops the corporate image and reputation.

With a role of this nature the following person profile would be an ideal fit:

- A number of years experience in a business development / sales capacity in the professional services industry;

- Possess strong expertise in Financial Accounting Services;

- Strongly commercially oriented and sales driven;

- Willingness to travel frequently to meet business needs and fulfil new and existing sales opportunities;

- Fluency in English (Spanish, German or French would also be an advantage);

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships;

- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed;

- Ability to work alone and as part of a globally based team.
