Senior Sales person
Purpose / Objective
Based in Amsterdam, the purpose of the role is to lead the business development and marketing efforts to meet significant revenue targets.
The Sales Person will:
- be prominent in promoting the brand in the marketplace and they will contribute to strategy setting and product evolution for their specific region;
- develop professional relationships with the key decision makers, at executive level, within their market-place.
- have an in-depth product knowledge of the entire Asset Servicing product set and a working knowledge of the firm’s global offering to present comprehensive and compelling solutions to clients and be capable of delivering the whole company.
- be intimately familiar with all relevant regulatory events and strategic industry issues which impact the Dutch market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales strategy
- Identify and maintain updated a defined universe of key prospects
- Implement a calling schedule with key prospects which ensures the firm is positioned with all chosen key prospects.
- Coordinate internally to ensure appropriate knowledge networks are leveraged and relevant people are aligned with strategy.
- Networking within industry bodies to further promote the brand.
- Work with other internal departments, third parties and partners to leverage existing relationships to execute against plans.
- Support sales enquiries and leads from other business areas and client groups.
- Become well versed in all relevant industry trends and the firm’s capability fit against these trends.
- Keep updated on key product updates relevant for region and provide input into business and product strategies for the marketplace.
- Develop competitive strategies and own new business opportunities for their region
- Lead commercial negotiations on all aspects of a new business opportunity including development of financial models.
