Senior Sales & Relationship Manager – Custody & Settlement recruitment

Global Financial Institution (Securities Services)

Location: Hong Kong

Focused on serving clients in the Hong Kong Market.
Ensure effective communication and feedback as well as high level of service delivered to the clients.
You will be responsible for prospering new business and expand the company’s market presence in this strategically important region.

Key responsibilities

Manage key relationships
Develop new opportunities / protect existing revenue streams
Prepare present proposals and product presentations to potential new clients
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Monitor service levels, escalate and resolve potential operational problems to ensure high quality standards; handle customer enquiries on settlement and custody.
Liaise with the product teams to promote Investment Funds Services and Securities Financing.
Keep abreast of market updates, developments and competitors.

Qualifications/ required skills

University degree preferably in finance and/or Economics or equivalent training
5 years experience in the securities/banking business, preferably with experience in a custodian bank, private bank or mid-office
Knowledge of or experience in settlement, ideally in various markets; excellent knowledge of the process of income processing, preferably with agent contacts; understanding of the funds industry.
Experience with institutional clients, good relationship with financial institutions, hands-on customer service experience.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, customer and service-oriented.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, team player. Highly motivated and flexible.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese and Putonghua, and preferably one or more Chinese dialects.
