Senior Sales Specialist - Big Bore Engine Job ID: 2011-15087 # of Positions: 1 Internal Title: Senior Sales Specialist - Big Bore Engine Position Type: Regular Full Time Category: Sales Distribution Location: US-IL-Warrenville Travel: Up To 75% Position Purpose and Requirements: This position is the Big Bore engine sales resource and technical expert, providing the communication and action link between Big Bore engine customers and Truck sales organization. This position is responsible for the planning, development, execution of activities to support the sale of International Big Bore engines in heavy and severe service truck and tractor applications. This role will have direct involvement and accountability with Navistar Truck sales and dealer organizations, as well as Engine and Truck product planning, marketing, and engineering. Working through the above Navistar Truck Sales organizations, the position will have direct involvement and accountability with end customers to secure voice of the customer input on required features and capabilities. Bachelor s Degree or at least 8 years of sales, marketing, product engineering, technical sales and/or technical service experience At least 6 years of sales, marketing, product engineering, technical sales and/or technical service experience Additional Requirements: Desired Skills: * Bachelor s Degree in Business or technical field * Advanced degree in Business or Engineering * At least 2 years of Big Bore Engine or Truck experience * Thorough understanding of the industrial sales process in the trucking or Big Bore engine industry. * Direct experience selling and supporting on-highway engine customers - background in this scenario with Navistar, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, or Allison Transmission.
