Senior Sales Support Consultant – Risk Consulting & Software recruitment
Due to continued growth across Asia-Pacific, and further building on a market-leading position in all major markets, Towers Watson, now a NASDAQ listed company, seeks a Senior Sales Support Consultant, to be based in Hong Kong. The role will involve running internal advisory for continual improvement of sales processes within Risk Consulting Software (RCS) across Asia-Pacific markets. This is the largest of our Risk and Financial Services business lines, and is primarily focused on supporting clients in the insurance industry. This position will be working at a hands-on level wherever necessary to support RCS associates in achieving sales success for Towers Watson, while liaising with regional leaders to strategically shape the development of the Sales Support Consulting function moving forward.

Responsibilities:
- Drive the continually evolving sales culture within RCS
- Actively assist in preparing winning proposals and pitch presentations, and pro-actively identify opportunities to support associates in maximising their ability to win work
- Support Client Relationship Management processes and individual client account teams
- Provide effective sales coaching to internal associates
- Assist practice leadership in developing initiatives and managing local sales campaigns
- Work with business and knowledge management colleagues to develop and maintain our database of best-practice proposals, credentials, case studies and other tools
- Introduce fresh, creative and successful sales techniques; enhance and improve the efficiency of the sales process of RCS associates, and ensure consistency and quality control of RCS sales-related communications and activity across Asia-Pacific
- Understand our services and their benefits allowing active contribution to overall sales messaging
- Actively promote the Sales Support Consulting function within Towers Watson
Requirements:
- Sales or marketing background in the finance / insurance industry
- Familiarity with consulting, project or change management
- Ability to develop broad strategic perspective across various markets
- Coaching skills and the gravitas to influence others
- Flexibility to work both at a strategic level and operational level
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Experience in dealing with procurement departments
- Excellent English, ideally with Chinese language in addition
- Ability to work with colleagues in translating complex technical information into impactful messages
- Strong Word and PowerPoint skills
- Energetic with a likable personality
- Resilience / ability to deliver under pressure
- Good academic background
