Senior Sales Support- Dutch or Finnish speaker
A top tier Asset Manager is seeking a Senior Sales Support Executive to join their Sales and Marketing department in London, covering Northern Europe.
It will be the responsibility of the Sales Support Executive to:
• Act as a key support primarily for the Nordic Institutional Sales Directors, in addition to the Netherlands and Benelux Sales Directors.
• Help articulate on-going client servicing story through client presentations, quarterly reports/letters, and providing value-added information to sales relationship managers.
• Retain clients through client service support.
• Develop processes to enhance reporting function within department (quantitative qualitative).
• Work closely with the Client Service Manager to conduct regular process reviews and performance analysis.
• Maintain a good understanding of institutional products including the strengths and weaknesses of each product.
• Work closely with Institutional Sales and Client Service to request and review RFPs/RFIs for new and existing clients.
• Work with the institutional sales team, portfolio specialists and product management team to develop and produce new high-impact and cost effective marketing communications and programs
The role requires:
• A degree educated candidate (or equivalent), preferably in a finance or economics related discipline.
• Previous experience in the financial industry, preferred but not essential
• Language skills, Fluent in Swedish is preferred but not essential.
• Experience within Asset Management, knowledge and background of Client Service and/or Sales Support is preferred.
• General knowledge of the institutional investment management and mutual fund business
• IMC, CFA, or an equivalent higher qualification (or in the process of obtaining them)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A good understanding of investments and the investment process
• An understanding of and exposure to institutional investors
• An understanding of performance and risk analytics, including performance attribution
• Proficient use and understanding of Fact Set and competitor databases
