Senior SAP Technical Architect (SAP ECC, CRM, SRM)
Our client, a Fortune 500 global company, require a Senior SAP Technical Architect to lead the effort to ensure that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT.
You will need your core skills to include:
· Real-life experience with architecture of SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager, and business applications like SAP ECC, CRM and SRM, components like SAP Content Server and TREX
· Good knowledge of SAP High Availability concepts, Adaptive Computing, virtualization techniques, networking. Practical experience with Linux and Windows, Oracle RAC and NetApp NAS. Formal SAP Basis Training and Certification are highly desirable.
· Excellent hands-on experience, ABAP, Java and Unix scripts development skills.
· Requires an expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, infrastructure, systems design and integration.
Your role and responsibilities as the Senior SAP Technical Architect will be
· Specifies and designs large and complex systems (e.g. involving significant team size and interaction, integration with multiple systems, covers multiple business processes or geographic regions). Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensures that they are applied effectively. Reviews others’ system design to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies. Establishes policy for selection of architecture components. Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options. Ensures that the system architecture balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
· Uses appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of systems architectures. Produces detailed component specifications and translates these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products.
· Sets standards, strategies and procedures across the development lifecycle in the areas of systems integration and testing and ensures that practitioners adhere to them.
· Maintains an in-depth knowledge of specific technical areas and provides expert advice regarding their application. Can supervise specialist technical consultancy.

o Technical Landscape design and documentation
o Technical platform for tools used to test SAP applications
o Integration of SAP and related non-SAP applications into the existing infrastructure, including processing hardware, storage and network
