Job Description Davis Langdon, An AECOM Company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Scheduler to provide scheduling services in support of various projects. This full-time position will be based in our Santa Monica office, supporting both local and national projects This is an opportunity to apply your background and experience to a range of exciting programs and projects, providing advice and direction at all stages of the design, procurement and construction process. The role will comprise of the following key responsibilities and possess the following qualities: As a seasoned project scheduler you will have worked in and developed project schedules for every phase of the construction project life-span from concept through to operation and maintenance. Schedules with 5,000+ activities will be familiar to you. 10+ Years experience. Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a design or construction related discipline. You would be graded as a "Master Scheduler" by your peers. You will be an "expert" in the use of industry standard scheduling software including specifically Primavera, up to and including Version 6, and Microsoft Project up to and including Version 2010. Able to prepare project schedules at all levels of detail from Level 1 Executive Reports through to individual trade task micro-schedules. Able to allocate both cost and resource to schedules and to manage and monitor their expenditure and utilization and produce reports illustrating this. Familiarity with Earned Value Analysis and its application would be of significant value but not essential. Able to accurately and currently track schedule progress against time and budget. Quickly identify areas of potential schedule concern and develop and implement methodologies to mitigate and correct schedule slippage. Produce schedule reports from Executive level down to full project master schedule detail. Have experience of working within multiple sectors. Of particular value would be aviation projects but not essential. Provide strategic advice to clients on project feasibility in relation to schedule delivery. Coordinate with project management, design teams and contractors. Demonstrated client management, communication and organization skills. Ability to lead projects and manage resources. Ability to think strategically, plan and problem solve. Capacity to work in a team setting with minimal supervision or direction. Ability to write complex business documents, such as reports, papers, detailed letters and emails. Attention to detail and quality. Demonstrated stability and longevity in job history. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Comfortable in meeting and presentation settings .
