NorthPoint Solutions is currently looking for a strong Software Developer to join our Financial Services practice. Our financial services practice focuses on building software applications for the hedge fund and investment management industries.

Responsibilities:
Working at NorthPoint you will play an important role in the development, implementation, and support of our solutions to our Alternative Investments clients. NorthPoint works on full life cycle projects, typically with smaller, agile teams of 2-3. You will be trained on NorthPoint’s Solution Frameworks the foundation for the services and solutions we provide to our clients, and grow into a role in our financial practice.
Requirements for the Role:
-A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related major
-Strong foundation in object oriented development (C++, C#, or Java)
-Good understanding of database concepts
-Desire to develop your knowledge of financial services asset classes and instruments
-Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment where technology has a direct impact on business
-Strong verbal and written communication skills and desire to work in a client facing roll

- Typical NorthPoint projects are delivered with 2-3 person teams so you have a direct impact on the success of each project and work directly with end users
- The average NorthPoint project lasts 6-9 Months. Most NorthPoint consultants will work on 3-4 projects over a 2-3 yr period of time.
